Welding Gloves
Insulation, dexterity and protection from heat are the biggest selling points when it comes to welding gloves. Manufactured in a wide range of styles and materials, welding gloves will vary based on the type of welding. For example, TIG welding requires dexterity and good heat protection. Stick welding requires the highest level of heat protection. And MIG welding, which typically produces more heat, sparks and harmful spatters, necessitates a glove crafted from heavier duty material. Cut resistance is also a factor when the application includes sharp edges or tools such as ceramics, glass or metals.
