There are jobs for which standard hand protection just isn’t enough. Tasks that are so hazardous and materials so dangerous that normal gloves are chewed up in a matter of hours.

That’s why Mechanix Wear developed the MAX CUT™ line. These are gloves built to stand up against incredibly dangerous cut hazards and still keep workers safe.

Who is MAX CUT for?

MAX CUT gloves are built to protect workers performing the most cut- and puncture-prone tasks on site, namely:

  • Sheet and metal glass handling
  • Heavy manufacturing
  • Midstream oil and gas
  • Upstream oil and gas
  • Heavy equipment operation
  • Pulp and paper blade changing
  • And more!

In order to keep these workers safe, we’ve packed the MAX CUT glove with some of the best protective materials and design techniques we have:

Made with ArmorCore™

ArmorCore™ is a special technology that offers the highest level of cut resistance and puncture protection. It’s rated as ANSI A9/EN Level F, which can withstand over 6,000 grams of weight to cut. ArmorCore technology is present in every Max Cut glove, which ensures consistent and reliable protection.

360-degree protection

At Mechanix Wear, we know that hazards don’t just come from one direction. That’s why we’ve ensured that our ArmorCore lining covers all parts of the glove: palm, sides, and back of the hand. This 360-degree protection increases safety from any angle.

Gunn Cut glove design

A Gunn Cut is when the glove’s palm, little finger, and index finger are cut from one piece of leather or cloth, and the two center fingers are cut from another piece. This removes vulnerable seams from high-wear areas and improves the glove’s durability while improving grip and comfort.
